Gracias al relacionamiento genuino de Contugas con las comunidades a las que lleva el progreso, la empresa inauguró el comedor popular; “Desplazados de Cristo” en Chincha y el vaso de leche “Virgen de las Mercedes” en Ica.
Con estas dos nuevas instituciones inscritas en el programa de valor compartido “Nutri Contugas”, la empresa suma cerca de 40 instituciones, en donde se alimentan casi 9 mil personas a lo largo del departamento de Ica.
Además de la instalación gratuita y la dotación de equipos e implementos, Contugas empodera a las madres y socias que participan en los distintos comedores e instituciones a través de didácticos talleres gratuitos en diversos temas como; nutrición, liderazgo y desarrollo personal, emprendimiento, buenas prácticas de manipulación de alimentos y educación financiera, fortaleciendo así sus capacidades.
En el caso de estas dos instituciones, tanto niños como madres y ancianos han sido beneficiados a través de la instalación gratuita al gas natural, módulos prefabricados, arreglos de infraestructura, utensilios, equipos de cocina y materiales escolares gracias al convenio de cooperación técnica firmado entre la empresa y el Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina (CAF).
Durante este 2018 la empresa continuará ejecutando diversas actividades en el marco de su programa de valor compartido “Nutri Contugas” en las provincias de Chincha, Pisco, Ica, Nasca y Marcona con el fin de reforzar su relacionamiento genuino con las comunidades donde opera.
Contugas espera trabajar en conjunto con las autoridades y gerencias de desarrollo social de las municipalidades de dichas localidades para el beneficio de los niños, jóvenes y mujeres de la región Ica.
